Redmi 11 Prime series starting at INR 12,999 launched in India

Along with The Redmi A1, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi also launched The Redmi 11 Prime series in India. There are two devices in the series, The Redmi 11 Prime 5G and Redmi 11 Prime 4G. Both these devices are budget devices that come with decent specifications. Check out the detailed specification below.

Redmi 11 Prime 5G specifications:

The device features a 6.58-inch full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It can reach a maximum brightness of 400 nits and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood, is the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC based on 7nm fabrication along with Mali G 57 GPU for handling all the graphics. The chipset is paired with up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. The storage can be expanded up to 512GB with a memory card.

For Optics, there is a dual rear camera system headlined by a 50MP primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP portrait sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, there is an 8MP front camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

It runs on MIUI 13 on top of Android 12 out of the box and is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. For connectivity, there is a USB Type C port for charging, Wi-Fi 802.11, and Bluetooth v5.1. Also, there is a 3.5mm audio jack, USB Type C for charging and it is IP52 rated for dust and water resistance. It is priced at INR 13,999 for the base 4GB + 64GB variant and INR 15,999 for the 6GB + 128GB internal storage.

Redmi 11 Prime 4G Specifications:

There are a few differences in the 4G variant. The 4G variant also features a 6.58-inches Full HD+ display with a 90Hz fast refresh rate. It can reach a maximum brightness of 400 nits and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The chipset is different than the 5G variant as it is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC along with Mali G57 GPU. The chipset is paired with up to 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. The storage can be expanded up to 512GB through a memory card. The MediaTek Helio G99 is the same chipset that we see in the recently launched POCO M5.

For optics, 4G variants come with a triple rear camera setup headlined by a 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP portrait sensor. For selfies, there is an 8MP front camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

It runs on MIUI 13 based on Android 12 out of the box and is equipped with a 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging rest of the specifications remain the same as the 5G variant. It is priced at INR 12,999 for the base 4GB + 64GB variant and INR 14,999 for the 6GB + 128GB storage variant.
