Redmi K90 Ultra Set to Debut With Built-In Cooling Fan

The Redmi K-series has long been known for delivering flagship-level features at aggressive price points. Brand has recently launched Redmi K90 Series smartphones, following the same philosophy. However, Redmi is also working on another device under the K90 Series line-up, the Redmi K90 Ultra. According to renowned Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, the K90 Ultra will have a built-in cooling fan for sustained high-performance tasks such as gaming.

As per the tipster, Redmi K90 Ultra will feature a 1.5k resolution LTPS ultra refresh rate display, potentially a 165Hz display. The device will also be powered by the best of Mediatek, the Dimensity 9500 chipset. The same chipset is also used on Vivo X300 Series and Oppo Find X9 Series, both offering flagship performance and efficiency.

However, the standout feature is the integrated fan system. Unlike bulky gaming phones, Redmi has cleverly placed the fan within the camera deco, maintaining a clean and minimalistic design. Impressively, despite the inclusion of moving components, the phone is said to theoretically support IP68 dust and water resistance.

Redmi has always been known for pushing boundaries when it comes to battery capacity. The upcoming K90 Ultra will continue on this innovation by featuring Redmi’s most advanced battery to date. The Redmi K90 Ultra will pack a gigantic 8000mAh battery, a capacity rarely seen in mainstream flagship smartphones.
