Vivo has officially announced its next-generation mid-premium Vivo V70 series in India. The lineup includes two models, the Vivo V70 and the more powerful Vivo V70 Elite, both aimed at delivering a premium smartphone experience across different performance segments.
Full Details
The V70 Series features a 6.59-inch OLED display, which is great for one-handed use while still offering an immersive viewing experience. Both smartphones feature a 50MP ZEISS camera setup. However, the biggest highlight of the Vivo V70 Series is its 50MP ZEISS Night Telephoto camera, which is less commonly seen in this segment. Paired with Vivo’s image processing, users can expect flagship-level image quality in this midrange smartphone. What’s even more amazing is that users can also shoot 4K 60FPS video recording with this telephoto lens. Vivo is also introducing India-specific camera features such as AI Holi Festive Portrait mode, AI Magic Weather, and the unique Flower Blessing feature to better capture local celebrations.
The Vivo V70 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, which is sufficient for daily tasks, whereas the Vivo V70 Elite is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, making it the most powerful V-series phone to date. It also has one of the biggest batteries, featuring a massive 6,500mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging. The phone runs OriginOS 6 out of the box. Vivo is also promising 4 years of Android and 6 years of security updates.
