Vivo X300 Ultra: Industry-First Dual 200MP Camera Setup Leaked

Vivo has recently announced its Vivo X300 Series in the Chinese market, with Global and India launches planned by the end of this month. But the most anticipated phone of the line-up, the Vivo X300 Ultra, is still in the development stage. According to a new leak from the renowned Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, the device is undergoing internal testing with some groundbreaking imaging and display technologies. As per the tipster, the Vivo X300 Ultra is rumored to feature a 6.8-inch 2K flat display, which is a major change from the previous generation X200 Ultra, which used a micro quad curved display.

The highlight of the X300 Ultra lies in its triple camera setup, which could potentially make it the first smartphone in the world to feature a dual 200MP imaging system. The main camera is reportedly a 35mm 200MP Sony sensor with a 1/1.11-inch size. This massive sensor size promises improved light intake, enhanced dynamic range, and exceptional detail even in low-light conditions.

In addition to the primary lens, the device is said to include a 200MP periscope telephoto camera. This dual 200MP configuration, coupled with Vivo’s in-house image processing algorithms and Zeiss optics, could deliver professional-grade results straight from a smartphone.

The Vivo X300 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset is based on TSMC’s 3nm N30 node. The chipset features a 2nd-gen Oryon CPU and an Adreno 840 GPU for gaming and heavy graphics work. As a result, it could hit an AnTuTu score of above 4million—about 30% higher than the current Snapdragon 8 Elite.

Launch Timeline

The Vivo X300 Ultra is expected to debut in Q1 of 2026 in China. And as per previous leaks, the device is also expected to debut in global markets as well.
