Another way of importing passwords to your Chrome browser is to use a command prompt as a command is available for that. By using the command, you can import your password from a CSV file to Chrome. These methods can efficiently work on both Windows and Mac computers, but the processes can be a bit different from each other as the operating systems are different.
For Windows
- First, open the start menu, search for the command prompt, and launch it.
- Now, type the following command and then press enter. You will now be able to go to the executable file of Chrome on your computer.

- Next, click the three dots in the top right corner of your Chrome, select the settings option, and head through the password section.

There is a hidden import option on Chrome that you can use for changing the value of any element and add the import option. Follow the steps below for this purpose:-
- First, open Chrome on your Windows or mac computer, followed by clicking on the three dots in the top right corner.

- Find the elements that come with the ID manulmportPassword. Remove the hidden word from the code and press the enter button.
- Click on the three dots next to the saved passwords option
- Go to the import option on your screen and click it to import the password
Note– This method will not offer you a permanent change, and you must alter the code whenever you want to make the option visible. As this thing is usually done once in a while, it can be a good option to go for.

Import Firefox Passwords Into Chrome
Many users switch from Firefox to Chrome. In that case, you can automatically pull all the information from your Firefox. You can transfer all the following data from Firefox to Chrome:
- Browsing history
- Favorites/bookmarks
- Saved passwords
