Method 1: Adding Money to the Wallet on the Console
You can directly add funds to your PlayStation wallet on the PS4 console. Remember, the money added to the PlayStation Wallet is non-refundable. Follow the below-mentioned steps for adding money to the PlayStation Wallet on Console:
First, select Settings on the home screen.
Now go to Account Management, from which select Account Information. In Account Information, go to Wallet and then press Add Funds button.
Next, choose the payment method from different options available. You can add payment using PayPal, Debit Card, Credit Card, Gift Card, etc. Please remember if you have not connected any payment methods previously, you will have to add the details.
Now choose the amount of money you want to credit to the account and then press the Continue button. You can add a maximum of $250.00.
The screen will show a confirmation message before proceeding; select Yes to continue.
Method 2: Adding Money to the Wallet On A Web Browser
If you are not around your console, do not worry; you can still add money to the PlayStation Store Wallet online. To add money using a Web Browser, follow the below-mentioned steps:
Open the web browser on your computer and then head to PlayStation Store website.
Sign in on the website using your PlayStation Account Credentials.
Now, click on the Avatar of your account, select Payment Management and there click on the Add Funds button.
Select the payment method and the amount you wish to add. Now confirm the selection for making the payment.
How Can You Check Your Wallet Balance Online
After making the payment, if you wish to confirm whether the amount has been topped up into your account or not, follow the below-mentioned steps:
Go to the PlayStation Store Website and Sign n using your account credentials.
Select your Avatar and from that, go to Payment Management.
Your wallet balance will be displayed at the top of the screen.
Note: PlayStation Wallet is not available for a child account. However, they can purchase using funds from the PlayStation Wallet of their family members. Moreover, there is a monthly spending limit for a child account.
