Apple has finally launched its self-service repair program in April 2022. The program offers repair manuals, parts, and tools necessary for fixing the third-generation iPhone SE display, bottom speaker, Taptic Engine, battery, camera, and SIM Tray. Now customers no longer have to rush to the service store every time they face a problem with their iPhone. The US-based company has given proper repair manuals for their genuine Apple parts and tools through the Apple Self Service Repair Store.
So far, the service is only available in the US; however, it will soon expand to other countries starting with Europe later this year. Apple has not revealed any dates for launching the repair program in India. This new online self-service repair store will have more than 200 individual parts and tools for repairing your iPhone. You can easily repair your display or battery for your iPhone 12, iPhone 13 lineups, and iPhone SE (3rd generation).
Although the iPhone doesn’t break quite so often, it’s pretty annoying to visit an Apple retail store or service provider every time there is an issue with the hardware or the software. Even for the smallest issues, we tend to rush to an Apple Store to fix it. It’s quite natural since iPhones don’t come very cheap. This is why Apple has decided to dedicate a self-service repair program that can provide repair manuals, parts, and tools necessary for fixing small issues with your display, bottom speaker, Taptic Engine, battery, camera, and SIM Tray.
How to download the Apple repair manuals?
According to a report, the self-service repair is only available for the 2022 iPhone SE, the iPhone 12 models, and the iPhone 13 models. For now, you can only repair the above listed iPhone components. However Apple has planned to add additional repairing components shortly. You can easily download the Apple repair manual from Apple’s Self Service Repair website. Simply go to the website and click on the “Apple Repair Manuals” link under “Support.” The repairing manual PDF will be downloaded and saved on your iPhone.
