Hard Reset of iPhone 7
There are two ways to hard reset an iphone7; one is by going through settings if the phone is responsive or else you can go ahead with recovery mode when your iPhone is not responding.
Method 1
Go to Settings – General – Reset – Erase all content and settings
The phone will then ask for the passcode or apple id
Enter the same and your phone will restart to welcome screen
Method 2
Switch off your iPhone
Launch iTunes by connecting your phone to your computer
On the right-hand side of the phone, you have wake/lock button, press it
At the same time press the volume down button which is on the left side of the phone
Make sure both the buttons are pressed simultaneously
The screen will turn black and in a couple of seconds and you will see the iTunes logo
Release the buttons and now your iPhone is in recovery mode
“There is a problem with the iPhone” message will appear
Click on restore and wait for the reset to be done
iPhone will start automatically
Hard Reset of iPhone 8
Method 1
Press and release the volume up button of your iPhone 8
Press and release the volume down button
Press and hold the side button
The entire above-mentioned buttons to be pressed and released pretty quick
Post holding the side button for 10 seconds the phone will restart
Method 2
Open Settings of your iPhone– General – Reset – Erase all content and settings
Click on Confirm to go ahead

Hard Reset of iPhone 6
There are three different methods to hard reset an iPhone 6.
Method 1
Navigate to Home Screen – Settings – General – Reset – Erase all content and settings
The phone will pop up a message to confirm
Enter the passcode if asked
Hard Reset is done
Method 2
Connect your iPhone 6 with computer or laptop and open iTunes
Select your iPhone from the menu in iTunes
Click on the Restore button in iTunes
A pop up will come to get the confirmation on restore and update
iTunes will reset the software in your phone
Method 3
Connect your iPhone 6 with a computer or laptop and open iTunes
Switch off your phone (if not freeze)
Press the power button for 3 seconds
Now press the home button along with power button for 10 seconds
Now release the power button
You will receive a pop up stating it has detected a device in recovery mode then release the home button as well
Click OK and accept the instructions

Hard Reset of iPhone 4
Method 1
Connect the iPhone 4 to the laptop or computer and switch off the phone
While connecting to iTunes, hold the home button
On the Computer a pop up will appear stating iPhone is in recovery mode
Click OK
Then, click Restore
Click Restore and Update
iTunes will restore the phone
Method 2
Go to Settings on your iPhone – General – Reset – Erase all content and settings
Click on Confirm to go ahead
Reset done
