Steps to set up Apple Pay
Go to the wallet app on your iPhone and click on the + Symbol.

Tap Next. This will begin the verification process by the card issuing bank. Additional details may be requested at this time. Once the card is verified, tap on Next for the card to get added.

If you are wondering how to use Apple pay on watch, then worry no more. Go to the Apple Watch application on your iPhone and open Wallet and Apple Pay. Proceed to add a new card to the wallet the same way you did earlier on the iPhone with the steps mentioned above. Send money to family and friends using Apple Pay
Once the wallet is set up with your card, you can use Apple pay to send money using the inbuilt messages app in the iPhone or use Siri. You don’t need to download any additional software or applications.
To send money using Apple pay, you should be at least 18 years of age and have a compatible device which is running iOS 11.2 and above and watch OS 4.2 and later. Secondly, you need to make sure that you are signed into iCloud with your Apple ID on the device that you want to send money from. Lastly, the Wallet should be equipped and set up with an eligible debit card.
To send money using Apple Pay, just open up an existing conversation in messages or open a new conversation.
Tap on Apple Pay
Select an amount that you want to send, add additional details and verify the payment method
Once this is done, you can just hit send and confirm the payment using Touch ID, Face ID or your passcode.
With apple watch, it is the same process to send money to your friends. Just open up the Messages application and start a new conversation or open an existing one with the person that you want to send money to. Click on Apple pay and select the amount using the digital crown. Review the information and confirm the payment by double-clicking the side button.
You can ask Siri to send any amount through Apple Pay to your saved contacts.
