Downloading and Installing Dropbox for Windows
You can visit the website of Dropbox and then download it
Before you can actually download Dropbox, you should create an account with them
Fill in the requested details. The process is quite simple; it just requires your name, email id and password that you are going to use in future to sign in Dropbox.
Once this is done, you will get the option to download Dropbox
The downloading process begins once you click on download
The installer is saved on your desktop as DropboxInstaller.exe
Click on the installer and follow the steps to install Dropbox
You will get a pop-up saying Dropbox Setup when the installation is complete. You will have to provide your email and passwords that you used to create your Dropbox account. This will sync your computer to Dropbox.com
Once the setup is complete a folder – Dropbox will be created and you will get an option that says – Open my Dropbox Folder
How to Use Dropbox
You will find a Dropbox icon towards the bottom right corner of your Windows computer which you can use for accessing in future.
You can now save any files that you want in this folder which in turn automatically gets saved in your Dropbox account.
You can now access these saved files on any computer or device. You just need to sign in to your Dropbox to get these files.

You can also send across links to certain files that you want to share with someone. Right click on the file that you want to share and from the options that you get click on Share Dropbox Link. This creates a link for this file which you can paste it in your email and send it across to someone. The receiver will be able to access the details just that file that you want him/her to see.
