The S Pen in the Samsung Galaxy Note series is one of the attractions which draws phone enthusiasts into buying this phone. The stylus integrated into the Note Galaxy Note series makes the phone more interesting to use. From taking pictures remotely to giving air commands and from using it as a remote control to taking notes, the S Pen makes itself useful in several ways.

Users mostly use the stylus to transcribe notes not just in the Samsung Notes application but also in the writing space of the software keyboard. Samsung has enhanced the features of the S Pen in the Galaxy Note 10 where the users can transcribe and export the contents as an image, a PDF, a Word file, or raw text in just a single click.

As new users of Note 10, you may be unaware of the way to use this interesting feature, hence we have for you a step-by-step guide that will help you understand how to use this feature and transcribe and export written notes on Galaxy Note 10.

Steps to Transcribe and Export Written Notes on Galaxy Note 10:

Open Samsung Notes on your Galaxy Note 10

Tap the + icon located right at the bottom of your phone screen. Users can also use an existing note that they may have saved as Screen Off Memos

Remove your S pen from the phone

Use the S pen to write down your note and then tap on Save once you are done

Once you Save you will see several options on the top right corner of your phone screen, tap on the Share icon

On tapping the Share icon, you will be prompted with a few options where the device gives you the ability to select the choice of file in which you would like to share your note. The options include – Samsung Notes File (SDOC), Microsoft Word File, PDF File, Image File, and Text File

You can make your choice of selection. Let’s say you choose, Microsoft Word File as your option. When doing so, you will be prompted to name the file and select the location to save the file. For instance, let’s say you select Google Drive as your saving location, name your file and then tap on Save.

Next, go to the location where you have saved the file. If you are opening the Word File for the first time on your device then you will have to agree to the terms and conditions of Microsoft.

When you open your saved file, you will find the note in two pages format. The first page will contain the transcribed contents whereas, the second page will contain the original note that you have written using the S Pen.

You can share this document with anyone. The above steps will work similarly for other formats that you choose to convert your transcribed notes.

Follow these instructions and convert your transcribed notes to your favorite format and save or share it with anyone you like.
