iOS 15.2 beta version

This September, Apple launched its latest iOS 15 and later one month after they released iOS 15.1. The new update offered Facetime Share Play and ProRes support to its users. There are many features like Universal Control and upgraded AirTag features that iPhone users are eagerly waiting for. Universal Control can grant users to move easily between devices running on macOS and iOS devices. However, the wait is almost over. Since Apple has already released an iOS 15.2 beta version. This gives a small preview of all the new features that are coming in the next update. The new iOS 15.2 beta version has a brand new feature to the Find My app. Now users can locate items that could later help to find users’ location.

Apple’s iOS 15.2 Beta version

The new Apple’s iOS 15.2 Beta version has added some cool bonus features to Find My App. The new update allows users to monitor their lost devices with the help of AirTags and objects with Find My location. But there has been a debate that this new feature can also be used for stalking other people. Although Apple has created many safety measures, other users cannot track with AirTags and other products.

The name of this new unknown items feature is “Items That Can Track Me”. When users turn this feature on, the system will scan the area for every small item that belongs to someone else, and then it will notify the user. It can also find those items that can track users’ location. The new feature uses AirTag or other Find My-enabled items to learn the location of the user. The new iOS 15.2 beta version will also offer the users more information about these items and how they can deactivate them so that they can no longer be tracked.

How To Use The Feature Of Find My App

You can easily turn this feature on if you have the new iOS 15.2 beta version on your iPhone. Here are simple steps for you to follow:

First, go to the Find My app on your iPhone.

You will see the item tabs at the bottom of the screen. Go and select it.

If you want more alternatives, you can drag the item cards with the help of a little pill-shaped handle.

Choose the items That Can Track Me from there.

And then tap on the search option.

After that, you need to look for the “Items Detected Near You” list.

Once the item is found, tap on it to view the information.

One thing to remember is that only the objects within 50 meters of their owner’s device can be found using this feature. If the system locates an AirTag, users can easily select the play sound option to find its location. There is also an option for ‘Learn More About This AirTag’. It will let others see whether the owner has given any contact information so that if the items are lost, they can track them back. You can also disable AirTag. Follow the instructions on removing the battery, and then the AirTag can no longer track anyone.

How to download Apple’s iOS 15.2

Only Users who have the new Apple’s iOS 15.2 beta version can use this feature. You can join Apple’s Beta Software Program. Just sign up for the program from Apple’s official website. The Beta version is just a test version which means there can be bugs in the update. If you still want to use the new version, we recommend you download the beta version on your second phone.

Here’s how to download the new iOS 15.2 Beta version on your iPhone. Sign in to the beta program and then download the configuration profile. Then restart your phone and open the Settings menu and select General. Go to Software update and download the beta version on your iPhone.

  1. This absolutely does not exist. There is no “Find items that can track me” (v15.71). I have never seen this, ever. There are only “Add item” and “Recently found item”.
